| This is my handsome husband Nef. He is an Apprentice Lineman for a local union. We have been married for 8 years. We dated for 2. He is a very sweet and funny guy. He is a major NY Yankees fan. He loves to play softball and tennis. I had to take tennis lessons to play with him and I still can't beat him. He is very athletic and is a great daddy. |
| This is my handsome son Tristan. He is 7 years old and in the 2nd grade. He is very intelligent and a little comedian. He was diagnosed with ADHD this year (2006). It was hard to hear, but explained a lot. He is very affectionate and loves to hug and cuddle, when he can sit still that is! Tristan is above average in Math, loves Science and reads the Encyclopedia for fun. He is learning to play guitar. It's amazing how his brain works. People misunderstand ADHD kids a lot. They are actually very intelligent children, just have a hard time focusing and sitting still. They need a lot of structure and consistent discipline to thrive. Which is not easy sometimes!! |

| This is my beautiful daughter Jada. She is 5 years old and is in Kindergarten. Jada was born with a rare chromosome disorder called a Balanced Translocation. She has Cerebral Palsy and Microcephaly. We weren't told anything was even wrong with her until she was over 6 months old. After I had already dreamed all my dreams for her, it was so heart breaking. Jada is unable to walk, sit or talk. She is able to use both her arms, though not that well. She can stand and sit if supported. She has terrible seizures which scare me to death. Jada does not really understand much, but she is the sweetest and happiest girl you'll ever meet. She loves music and to be sung too. She loves to swing and be tickled. She is able to eat normal softer foods, so we are lucky. A lot of children like her can't even eat. So though it is sad she is this way, we are still very fortunate, we know it could be worse. Jada is just PURE LOVE and our sweet beautiful angel. |
